If you loved the Hunger Games you might take a liking to Divergent. Set in America after something big, when people figure out that they need factions with different personality’s to help run the place.( It's not explained that much ) Meet Beatrice, the main character and a member of the abnegation faction. One event changes her life and leads to whole new discoveries.
Let me just say that this book has twist after twist, some that just come out of nowhere. This book is action packed and keeps you constricted to reading it. Even though the book is a good young adult book with many twists, it has a few flaws that need to be pointed out. There are many questions that needed to be answered or you are a bit confused about. Sometimes Beatrice seems like any other typical young adult character that you have grown tired off and are constantly repeated in books. And the emotions she shows towards many things might not be the way you would think someone her age would act.
In summary it’s a neat book, flaws here and there. If you are into young adults books, then this is just one to add to books you should read. With a movie deal coming up, you might want to look into it before it’s the only thing you hear about on TV/Radios/Computers/everywhere.
