Cherub the Recruit

Getting recruited to become a kid spy?  To some people that would be their dream, to be the new James Bond or infiltrate criminal organizations. Dangerous work but still people would take the risk, that’s what this book is about.

This book follows James Adam an orphan who is recruited into a secret organization run by former military officials and spies, stationed in the country of England. Throughout the book James goes through many obstacles and has to make hard choices as he goes through basic training.

The book is a very fun read for any teenager. With a ton of genres in one book, comedy, action and a little bit of romance between the characters as the book and series progresses. It’s a novel but not very long at all, if you were very into this book you could get it done in a couple of sittings. It goes at a steady pace and in some parts keeps you guessing about what is going to happen. You might grow to hate specific characters like I did. If you like young adult action with light humor and British accents, then I highly suggest this book.
